Acronym Definer 2.0
The original Acronym Definer was created in 1994 using Borland Turbo Pascal 7, and it won grand prize in ComputorEdge's Weird Software Contest. I've been unable to locate the source code for the orginal version, but I have re-created it as a Java applet. It uses an algorithm and a dictionary very similar to the original Acronym Definer.
If your browser sufficiently supports Java, the Acronym Definer will appear
below. Enter an acronym and press the define button!
